The state of government

15/10/2016

In order to rally people, governments need enemies. They want us to be afraid, to hate, so we will rally behind them. And if they do not have a real enemy, they will invent one in order to mobilize us. ~Thích Nhất Hạnh

Governments and gangs are one and the same. The only differences between the two is that gangs are usually smaller than governments, and their borders more fluid. Governments are gangs of thieves who have declared ownership of various geographical land masses known as: the United States, Spain, Israel, Colombia, Australia, Russia, and so on. They sell the people the idea that government is necessary. And, that it is necessary to tax the people to  maintain the government and keep them safe. The public are never told about the nature of blackmail and the compromising behaviour that so many politicians get caught up in – and what it really says about the political power structure.

Governments bamboozle the public to accept ludicrous policies as “necessary.” The systematic murder of innocent citizens perpetrated by governments would not be tolerated by the masses. But when the public is repeatedly lied to they will view the events through the lenses that governments have lowered over their eyes. Governments use fear and intimidation to push an agenda. Enter “the terrorist threat.” Are people in the West really under constant threat of being killed by terrorists? No, they are not – though governments would like us to think so—and many people do.

Bleached-toothed, pinstriped television pundits and other social parasites have beckoned the young to die or to be injured in pointless, illegal wars. Usually these calls to arms come from professional, syndicated arseholes.

Anyone who is patriotic towards his nation becomes an enemy of other nations. But our Earth is one! Abandon the small for the vast. These boundaries have troubled man enough! Don’t fall for the jingoism bullshit. There are no great pieces of land, just great people. Do not have anything to do with the military. The military takes orders from government, but governments take orders from the banking industry (Be aware that a network of families and secret societies connect Big Banking, Big Oil, Big Government, Big Pharma, Big Biotech, Big Food, Big Media and so on.) War is about profit because the system is a business. The best way to convince men to fight is to make them want to fight.

The illusion of representative government is over. The corporate world has colonized government systems that were intended to serve people. The danger of allowing this to continue, of course, is that the casualty always eventually becomes life itself. We are run by big business, big banks and big unelected unaccountable bureaucrats.

If you live in fear of saying the ‘wrong’ thing and that it might be traced from an email or ‘phone conversation, it has done its job. If you rationalize that the decimation of free speech, free thought and a free life that does no harm to others is the way things are today and that’s alright because it keeps you safe from some unseen enemy, it has done its job. Our evolution is stifled by fear. It is up to us to make the present and future an age of light.

The separation between what police are, (enforcers for the state), and what the public perceives them to be, (protectors and servants), is a chasm of monumental proportions. The function of police forces is to maintain order for the ruling classes. They do this by instilling fear of repression into people. The police aren’t interested in helping working class people—they are concerned with keeping working class people in their place. Recent historical events challenge the beliefs that governments care about us, protect us and keep us safe. When our beliefs are challenged, fear and anxiety are created. In response to that, our psychological defences kick in, and they protect us from these emotions. Denial kicks in when our beliefs are challenged.

Following the Belgian general election of 13 June 2010, a process of cabinet formation was set in train. However, these negotiations continued for a long time, and after 589 days, on 6 December 2011, an elected government with Elio Di Rupo was named Prime Minister. Similarly, for more than nine months (and ongoing), Spain has managed without a traditional national government. Yet in the face of this lack of central authority and planning, the Spanish people survive without a government as did Belgium. These developments offer a glimpse of life if politicians stepped out of the way. If, given the opportunity, people are not only capable of charting their own future, but they are smart, wise, and brave enough to seize the chance to do so. There is no alternative—the people must take control of their governments. The consent of the people to be governed must no longer be taken for granted. We must ask hard questions about the nature of governments and what role, if any, the institution will play in our future.

Thus peaceful resolution of conflicts around the world will not stop whilst western countries retain their political and economic power structures. A few psychopathic people aspire to gain total domination of the world’s resources and are at the centre of much of the needless death and destruction across the planet.

Much of the information we absorb is controlled by a few organizations, and the messages we receive combine to transform us into disempowered non-actors in a world taken over by untouchable global powers. The solution requires us to tune out of the corporate mainstream media and engage in self-education, self-knowledge and in participation in community.

Walk your talk! There is only one kind of magic and that is ‘doing.’ The awakening is you. Only you. That’s what all this is about – the battle for your spirit and soul. There is nothing more important in this life for you, or me, than waking up. Once that’s straightened out, the rest will follow.
