When will you recognise that you are a brainwashed mainstream media consumer?

30/01/2016

An ignorant population is desirable and, indeed, essential to insure total control of the populous. An ignorant population does not know its rights, does not seek a better understanding of issues, does not question the narrative, or, for that matter, the authorities. People simply follow trends. Popular mainstream culture distracts and nurtures ignorance by continually serving up brain-numbing entertainment and spotlighting degenerate celebrities to be idolized.

The news is all about artificially manipulating the context of stories. The thinner the context, the thinner the mind must become to accept it. If you want to visualize this, imagine a rectangular solid. The news covers the top surface. Therefore, the mind is trained to work in only two dimensions. Then it can’t fathom depth, and it certainly can’t appreciate the fact that the whole rectangular solid moves through time, the fourth dimension. ~Jon Rappoport

I’m like one of those beings (animals and humans alike) clinging to dear life when on the verge of extinction. I’m surrounded by brainwashed mainstream media consumers and at this point in time, I see no hope, at all. The alternative media (that is their claim) continue to treat Australian politics like an afternoon soap opera with the focus on the character of the men and women and their misdeeds. Their gobbledegook is merely a distraction and in lockstep with that of the mainstream media.

I’m convinced that all political leaders are controlled and instructed what to do—or else! Thus, it follows that they are largely powerless to initiate reform (with just a few exceptions) unless instructed to do so. It is the reality of the invincible empire that should motivate writers to truly inform the public about this fabricated reality. The simple message is: ‘Everything the people have been told is a lie;’ and ‘However you vote, the secret government always wins.’ No Australian alternative media writer has ever recommended that people turn off their TVs or for that matter stop wasting their time and energy voting. These writers consume mainstream propaganda to propagate this formulaic bullshit via the alternative [sic] media. The controllers’ power over the masses is fearsome and awe-inspiring, but is dependent on the masses continuing to consume the poison delivered by TV.

I don’t watch television, read newspapers or magazines. I’m completely happy with my life. Are you? The role of the print and electronic media (in particular TV) in our society is crucial to the success of brainwashing and controlling large population groups. Is there a way to stop this? Yes, there is. Wake up and turn off your TV and read a book. It’s that simple!
