My new Desktop PC from MSY Technology, North Melbourne

I purchased an assembled desktop PC from MSY Technology’s  North Melbourne store. The transaction was personal and useful: 1) placing the order and settling on componentry; and 2) collecting the computer system. I set my budget at AU$600.00 for a system sans an operating system, and that was far too low. I envisaged a machine that is powerful and upgradeable. And, it is! Ultimately the price rose to $848.85 (I had to add the cost of Windows 7 Professional SP1 64 Bit and travel expenses).

Here is a list of the componentry:

ASUS F2A85-M-LE (FM2) DDR3 Motherboard
AMD Cooling Fan
AMD A85 Chipset
2GB Radeon HD 6570 PCI-Express Video Card
Patriot 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1333 Memory
Hitachi 1TB SATA3 Hard Disk
SHAW DF Series USB3.0 Front Medium Case
23.6” Viewsonic VA2251-LED 5ms DVI LED Backlight Monitor
Gigabyte KM-5300 USB Desktop Keyboard and Mouse (Not used)
High Definition Audio CODEC 5.1 Channel Sound (Integrated)
Gigabit 10/100/1000 Fast Network Card (Integrated)
Samsung Fast Speed Dual Layer DVD Writer
Creative SBS A35 2.0 Speakers System (Not used as the monitor has built-in speakers)
Windows 7 Professional SP1 64 Bit (Activated with a genuine product key!)

I’m satisfied with my blazing fast computer.
